Lam Ari in the constellation Aries

#6 in the Astronomical Leagues double star observing program

This was a nice looking pair seemingly off all on their own in the sky. I observed them at 0420 hrs local time at an altitude of only 13 degrees above the horizon so my view of them was somewhat fuzzy, enjoyable nevertheless!

HB graphite pencil on white copy paper, scanned, imported into GIMP and reversed.

Seeing: 3/5 Transparency: 2/5

Naked eye Limiting Magnitude: 4.7

Temp: 71 deg. F (21c) Dewpoint: 66.5 deg. F
