Another another another Mars mission!!

The animation is 50 little 807nm Marses each of which is 2000 frames from a 60 second capture. Nearly froze to death!

Oooh nice! In the animation you can see the three dark patches of the big Tharsis volcanoes and right at the end Olympus Mons rotates into sunlight and appears as a light patch on the limb where the sunlight is lighting up its slopes.

 

Getting OM on the terminator is always great.

Thanks Nick, that's nice to know, I hadn't investigated what it was I had caught. Here are the 3 best frames at the end -
