Hi All,

 

I am new to astrophotography and last night I managed to capture my first images of a nebula. I am using a dedicated color astro cam (QHY5III178C) and collected the photos using NINA and saved them as Tiff files (I also collected a few dark, flat, dark flat and bias images). Then I stacked all the images with DeepSkyStacker (v4.2.5), I endup with a grayscale image (for exemple once processed the RGB/K Levels tab in DSS only show a grey color bar - see greyscaleonly.jpg). Then I process the image with Startools but it is impossible to see some colors - only grey.

 

Is this normal? Did I miss a step? Or is it possible to convert a tiff file to fits?
