I was just wondering if I needed another eyepiece or two. Two telescopes: Meade 12 inch SCT with 3000 mm f/l and 4 inch Tak FC100 DF with 740mm f/l.
Eyepieces already owned are: Delite 5 and 7mm. Radian 14mm. Panoptic 24mm. Panoptic 35mm.
So for the Tak I have widefield low power at X21 (Pan 35). Then I have X105 (Delite 7) and X148 with (Delite 5).
For the Meade I have X85 (Pan 35). Also X 125 (Pan 24). Then X214 with the Radian 14.
Obviously, I cannot use either of the Delite eyepieces for the Meade but was wondering if something giving a power of X270 might be useful. Perhaps a Delite 11 or Delos 12 for X250?
I don't want an eyepiece with such a high power that it can only be used on nights of perfect seeing. For the Tak I probably need something near X200 or a bit more. If I go for two eyepieces it would be nice to try something new like Delos and Nagler. Although I did used to own a Nagler and thought very highly of it. Only interested in Televue but not Ethos.
