I live near Chicago and to ship this to say Washington State I'm looking at about $65.00. Sounds high?

Different companies will quote different prices. You can estimate shipping costs on their websites if you know the overall weight. It all boils down to what you're willing to pay.

USPS Has a calculator on their web site. When I plugged 20 lbs and 14x14x20,  Seattle to Chicago, I came up with

Now I don't know the exact size and weight of the box, but if you have not shipped anything in a while, I can tell you that prices have gotten crazy high.
