Last week I was taking some images of the sun with my refractor and the ASI224mc.

All images appear descent until i put on a UV/IR block filter and thats when a pattern emerged.  I don't recall this pattern when recording but noticed it later when watching the videos.

It may appear in the other images but it is definitely more noticeable with the UV/IR filter.

Anyone notice similar findings?  What causes that and how do I get rid of it?

actuallty, this may have to do with the Windows video player as when I open it in astrostakkert it appears normal and the color is back.

Scan lines?  Try VLC maybe.

I may do that. Its like it was showing the debayer pattern with Windows Movie/Video player.

The color was also off, I found yetererday, as I was using SharpCap for the first time and I did not have my red blue settings set correctly.  When I imaged yesterday I set them to 52/95 and color was much better. Thats why the above image from last week was so green, I failed to set those colors in SharpCap last week.
