I am probably sure this is a common topic for  72mm owners.

I am still waiting on my AT72 (thank goodness I ordered it before the price increase). In the meantime I have both the 1.25, and 2 in optical trains ready. The highest power the AT will take is 143x, lowest is 11x. For low power, I have a TV 27mm Pan. I ordered the APM 31mm UFF. I do have Morph 12.5mm, one of two for my BT's. What is good high power for both optical trains? Thanks.:)

My eyes have never really liked eyepieces shorter than 5mm.  Pentax makes a 5mm and 7mm xl that are nice. Short fl smaller diameter scopes are not the best to push up the power - too small of an exit pupil.

I don’t care to look through EPs with exit pupils smaller than about 1mm, so a 7mm Delite is my high power EP for my AT72ED2.

Here's what I use:

Meade 5000 UWA 5.5 mm with 2.0x Barlow - 157x

ES82 4.7 mm with 1.5x Barlow - 137x

Starguider Dual ED 3.2 mm - 135x

Cheers! Bob F.

Edit to add:  BTW, Astronomics lists the focal length of the AT72EDII as 430 mm. However, if you look on the lens cell you'll see 432 mm.

I would go to 6mm for 71x and 1mm exit pupil and you might own a barlow for occasional 142x. I use a Delos 6 with my older WO 66 Zenithstar (that's f/6 too). Most of the time I just use a 24mm ES 68 and when I want more power Hyperion Zoom, up to 50x. For more I would use one of the medium and big telescopes.
