I like my SV 80, as a beginner in astrophotography.   I was looking to go with a 5 inch refactor for AP and visual to add to the SV80.

I was looking at the SVX 130, but the price is the same as a 5in Takahashi.

I was wondering if, at my stage in the hobby, if an AT130 would work.  Is the price difference that noticeable in terms of

quality for a beginner?  There is quite a difference.

thanks
