Doing some shots on NGC1909, Witch Head. I was surprised at the amount of traffic in this area.

Is it right below her "chin"? I shot the Witch Head last weekend and had them near hear chin area every single frame over 3 or so hours!

Noob question... Does it matter? If you have a reasonable number of subs and dither, these should be all taken care with pixel rejection no? I have been working under that assumption and haven't paid any attention at all to this (other than seeing them on the rejection map).
Thanks and cheers

Yes if you dither and have enough subs you can clean up the final image.

The final image turned out fine for my first shake down after a new reducer. a really short integration of 3 hours. Just was trying to get sensor flat and backfocus correct (still working on that. 0.72 reducer and APS-C seems very touchy). That and wanted to see what curveballs f5 with the Flat8 was going to bring.
