Taking advantage of these clear skies. Rosette Nebula in RGB 15 x 300sec, then another with added Ha and another 15 x 300 sec cropped. All 5min guided ea.

Taken with Canon 500d Mod, star adventurer pro, ED72 reduced.

This is the first images taken with my Svbony CLS filter and I must admit to being pleasantly surprised at its performance from my Bortle 5 skies

G'day Paul,

 

You have bloody heaps of data hiding in the shadows.

 

If you use Photoshop or Gimp, you can use a simple curves pattern to bring up the detail. I normally just use a 3-point curve, but yours needed four:

If you want a slightly less heuristic-aesthetic approach to stretching, sharkmelly (Mark) posted a set of Photoshop Curves that do an Arcsinh stretch:
