My 10'6" REB Ash Dome comes with a MD-CC4 USB to RS422 Comm Converter to interface with the dome motors.

Does anyone have a WiFi solution for dome remote control? .

I would like to stay away from writing code to make an approach operational.

The dome comes with ASCOM drivers

Thanks for any help

I don't think I know of any wireless extensions for RS-422 on any wireless protocol.

The Ash Smart-AC-Stepper drive system should have come with an RS-422 to USB adapter that plugs into the observatory PC and I don't think their ASCOM driver would be able to understand and utilize any other kind of connection.

I hope that helps.

Suggest you contact Astrometric Instruments (https://www.astrometric.com) - they specialize in Ash dome automation.  I have their DomePro 2 system installed in my 12.5ft Ash dome - it is wireless with USB, ASCOM, as well as their own ASCOM driver and compatible with SB TSX dome-add-on feature - also works with other SW packages like Nina, Voyager, ACP, etc...
