I haven't been on CN very long.  Is there a thread on the best beginner/intermediate targets by month/season?

Thanks in advance.

Here's a good book of targets organized by month.  It also has useful supplemental material, on each target, and on astrophotography in general.

Have it, recommend it.

Take a look at the Galactic Hunter website.  They have a list for all seasons.  Here's one for Spring.

That link takes you to the monthly post  in the Announcements, News and Feedback section at the top of the main forum page that Dave Mitsky has put together for years. It includes a wealth of different objects and phenomenon and is highly recommended. The focus is on objects well placed for observing during the month and there is a long library of previous similar posts for months gone by.
