Hello,

I would like to use PIPP to convert my current monochrome image for which CFA is flagged to 'Yes' (hence interpreted as color image) to full monochrome image.

During the process, in output of PIPP, the image is shifted and not framed correctly anymore.

By any chance does anyone know what causes this and how to keep the original framing of my image?

See attachments 0A.jpg showing the original image and OB.jpg after conversion in PIPP. As you can see, OB.png image is shifted.

I am bit surprised that no one replied so far.

 

There is a vertical line on the image on the right. The image is shifted to the right and restart to the left.

 

So basically an image selected as input in PIPP will return a staggered image in output.

 

Not sure if I'm clear.

 

What am I missing?

I've seen this in the output of my ZWO camera, it's called "Split Image".

 

But I've never seen it being caused by a software conversion.

 

PIPP is for Planetary images, what are you trying to achieve ?

Using PIPP it changes CFA from Yes to No. This is what I'm trying to do.
