Hi Guys just been looking at the moon last couple of days with these and they are working very nicely for me https://www.altairas...wers-6443-p.asp

 

I would however like to get a short profile Barlow for them as I want to attach it and leave it on the front, any recommendations for a 1.25" barlow with a filter thread on the rear?

Best to find something that threads directly on (like this).  Not sure if the threading is correct as I'm not familiar with those BV's however they are spec'd out quite nicely IMO.

Can you remove the 1.25" piece in the front?

This model is a copy of the Baader MK V (as the new TS and other clones), and the Baaders GPCs should work fine, if possible to use directly...
