My fellow CN'ers,

I have created a YouTube video tutorial and sharing all the data I took of the Rosette Nebula. The data includes a total of 3 hours (18x600s) of integration using a RedCat51, the ASI533MC Pro OSC, and an L-eXtreme filter. The video suite contains nine videos that will walk you through my full process from start to finish to create an image like the following.

Please feel free to share the images you create in this thread waytogo.gif

Download the Rosette Nebula files and watch the YouTube video series

Once you get the process down you can also create a Hubble Palette image as well thanks to the L-eXtreme filter.

As always enjoy!

OK... I goofed around a bit trying to be creative... Ran some pixel math on the channels, then it was a combination of curves, masks, saturation, hue adjustments...

As always, great set of videos Joey. Solid explanations that are easy to understand and digest. Keep up the great work.

Well I went back and tweaked the steps in the tutorial I posted from Simon Todd and created my first Hubble image from the data. I am rather pleased I was able to create this with just PixInsight and the L-eXtreme filter.
