So you have an option but it would be ditching the ASIAir software and moving to INDI with Astroberry or Open Astro. The drivers that KenS from CN built have driver support for the DSLR option. Since I don't have a DLSR I don't know if it supports a dither option or not but since it's open source it could be added in.

The last and final thing is to request ZWO to add that feature into the ASIAir software suite.

ya we have been asking zwo about that feature for years. Not sure its on the todo list or not.

To anyone who is digging around in the asi air firmware, can you unlock the dslr snap port? I suppose a gui would need to be created for it to work.
