I need parts for an Edmund Space Conqueror focuser. I think there is a used parts dealer in California. Anyone know who it may be?

Also call Stellar Vision Astronomy in Tuscon. He may not advertise it, but he has lots of parts sitting around.

Yes, Don retired, or at least closed the astro shop.
Very nice guy and an unbelievable range of products from 4 or 5 decades.

If you ever looked at Don's inventory list, it was unbelievable that he could have so much stuff.

Yep I had a few calls with him across that great big pond quite a few years back when he was snowed under, which I didn't realise happened there at the time - an accommodating man!

Yes he was. I bought a couple of classic 0.965” diagonals from him some years ago and I asked if he had a Unitron 0.965” Herschel wedge. He didn’t but low and behold, a couple of months later I get an e-mail from him. He found one for me! Enjoy your retirement Don!

I was looking for an item recently and sent Don an email. He he is retired; but never-the-less, he sent me his latest inventory list. It's still worth contacting him for a copy of the list to see if he has what is needed.

I think Don had a hard time selling his inventory. I believe he still has most of it. His email is

I emailed him a couple of months ago about a part. He got back to me asking for my contact information and I never heard from him again.
