I continue my "astrophotographic cold adaptation" here at 66-67°N in the arctic part of Swedish Lapland, and has made a DIY heated hardcase to keep my tablet (and other camerabatteries) warm during prolonged shooting in arctic temperatures. I bought a heated car seat that that i stripped and used the warming part and "installed" it in a hard case that I have isolated with material from a cheap sleeping pad. After my initial outdoor tests, it holds a temperature of about 20°C.

How do YOU keep warm.  I have done some nights at -20°C.   I think what kept me warm was very big heavy boots that kept my blood pumping as I walked around in the boots.
