It's not great compared to some of the other works posted to this forum, but I am super happy with it for a 1st attempt!

There are a number of things I think I can improve upon. Per Meteoblue the seeing was ~3", not ideal. Much better seeing is possible for my location. It was a ton of work to keep the sun in the FOV & etalon sweet spot due to the tripod. I am optimistic the mount will make this much easier. The focus seems somewhat soft. I was rushed and could probably tune the etalon better if I had more time. The exposure is on the bright side. There also appears to be sensor grid artifacts or newtons rings prominent at the bottom. I could also take a second capture or change exposure settings to pick up the proms better. It's supposed to be cloudy the next few days, but I can't wait to experiment once the clouds break.

Not bad for your first image, just a little over exposed. The new tripod will make a big difference.
