Hi everyone, does anyone have a couple of sets of Lights/Darks/Flats/Bias from an ASI071MC Pro I can borrow? I am experimenting with processing software but the weather here has been IMPOSSIBLE. I will not publish the data or anything, it is just for the sake of messing around with software. I am thinking of just plunging into Pixinsight, I was going to buy Astropixel processor but when I started to play with Siril (which seems pretty darn capable), I realized that I kind of like the more "in depth" approach (scripts, etc). I will have the 45 day trial...but darn, this weather is ridiculous. I would also like to see a set that is broadband and one with a filter like the L-enhance. With the broadband images, the photometric color calibration is really nice in Siril (I think Pixinsight also has this). Sorry if this is a weird/out of place question.

Is there a specific reason why you want 071MC data? Processing data is processing data. Why does it matter which camera?

It is just because I have the same camera. Also, there is more, when using Siril, when using the l-enhance filter, my image has a blue hue (as opposed to the usual green hue). There is some confusion for me about which bayer pattern to use. My fits header looks like:
SIMPLE = T / C# FITS: 02/22/2020 23:10:49
BITPIX = 16
NAXIS = 2 / Dimensionality
NAXIS1 = 4944
NAXIS2 = 3284
SWCREATE= 'SharpCap' /
BAYOFFY = 1 /
BAYOFFX = 0 /
BAYERPAT= 'GBRG ' / NOTE: Use RGGB on some software (eg PixInsight)
COLORTYP= 'GBRG ' / NOTE: Use RGGB on some software (eg PixInsight)
CCD-TEMP= -4.9 /
YBINNING= 1 /
YPIXSZ = 4.78000020980835 /
DATE-OBS= '2020-02-23T04:10:49.3562946' / System Clock-Frame Grabbed
XPIXSZ = 4.78000020980835 /
EXPTIME = 120 /
BSCALE = 1 /
BZERO = 32768 /
EXTEND = T / Extensions are permitted
XBINNING= 1 /
INSTRUME= 'ZWO ASI071MC Pro' /
END
So it shoes the GBRG pattern when BAYOFFY =1. In Siril, it chooses GBRG since that is what is in the FITS header. If I change the bayer pattern to RGGB (which is the case when BAYOFFY =0), it is even more blue. I only had one set of not so good data. I am hoping data from the same camera form someone who actually knows what they are doing would work better and give me more insight to what the heck is going on. I recently got a GEM and an ASIair Pro (well the AAP is still in the mail), but the weather isn't letting me grab more data.

But it's blue because of your filter, not because of the Bayer matrix. When you see it is blue, is it when you stretch? How are you stretching in PI?
In any case, you should extract background (ABE/DBE) and neutralize it in your light. The blue shift will go away once background is properly balanced. When you use filters like that, color balance is always off.

Honestly, I have just been using Siril at this point, I have not requested the 45 day license (I am worried that I will lose half of the trials due to clouds!). I just use the autostretch. Siril splits the channels into their RGB components and I notice the R channel looks like there is nothing their (but the L-enhance filter would have a strong red response due to Ha) when compared to the green and (especially the blue channel).

What did you image?
The bandwidth in Hb and OIII is much broaded than Ha so if you were shooting with a bright moon for example then you will get a blue cast.

That's a bit odd. Can you upload your stacked file? Not debayered or any processing. Just stacked.

How do I upload files here? Do I use link a google link or something?

Thanks for your help! I got the trial license for Pixinsight and tried DBE, cleaned it right up! I do have to make sure RGGB is chosen for both Siril and PIxinsight.
