I'm having no luck updating the firmware on my Losmandy/Garmin GPS unit.  Has anyone on here been successful?  And if so, would you be willing to update mine if I delivered/sent it to you?  I'm in SoCal.

Have you called Losmandy?

You need to contact Losmandy support or I'd strongly suggest updating the Losmandy Gemini 2 users group at https://groups.io/g/Gemini-II/. This is where the bulk of the Gemini gurus hang out, Losmandy support also strongly participates there too. 

 

BTW, I use a Mac and have had good luck updating my Gemini 2. As far as I know there is no update for the GPS though, I can't see why there would be a need to be.

Thanks for the replies.  I'm good with the Gemini update.  It's the Garmin GPS that I'm having trouble with.

How did you find out there is a GPS update, also did you call Losmandy to get some help?
