See? Definitely trivial. Obviously I can survive without it but I hate to have it “incomplete

I was never able to find genuine SA individual parts, so finding that silly dust cap will be very difficult. For additional counterweight you have more options:
You could get official counterweight kit

Or if you are like me, and think that "instructions" are for people who do not know what they are doing, and put 5+ kg of astrophotography gear on your Star Adventurer, then you could get something like this instead:

I "recycled" counterweight from an old Orion EQ-2 mount and it works perfect.
Hope this helps.

That's a good idea - I was also looking at these from aliexpress.com: https://www.aliexpre...0715941134.html Your links are cheap enough that it's probably not worth the hassle.
I'm not trying to go too crazy with a SA - but I believe the Rainbow Astro mount has the same shaft for their "optional" weights. If I get one of those I thought I might just re-use the shaft and add a weight or two. (The RST-135 doesn't seem to need the load to be in balance but the tripod underneath would probably be more stable.)

You could always call us for parts.
Whoa whoa whoa. Let’s not get crazy!
