Most certainly am suffering from cabin fever...I never open up my backyard observatory this early in the year, but after a string of cloudy, snowy, sub-zero temps this month we were struck with fair weather and clear skies. So I fired up the mount and found the Sun with a nice hedgerow prom and a couple small active regions. Still, the cool temps and the Sun over our roof limited seeing, but I did record a number of tiny umbrae in the active regions.
Used a William Optics 102mm f/7 ED refractor, Lunt 100mm ERF, a 2X Powermate, Daystar Chromosphere Combo, and DMK41 camera. Was nice to get out in the yard for a little observing!!
