I’ve been wanting to try this, took me a long time to process but I think it turned out ok, I’ll put an Amazon link if you want to see larger size.... not really sure if they mess with resolution there... anyway, taken with Qhy485c , took about 30 images [I overlapped a lot,}

This is a pleasing image.  Thanks for posting.  Just as an FYI, your background has a very strong Magenta cast to it.  It looks like the Moon itself has been desaturated/converted to B&W, but the background was missed.

Thanks, I overlaid it on what I thought was a black background to avoid the composite edges, as far as the moon itself, I converted it to monochrome on the individual frames before compositing

Something odd, the original is around 10000 x 10000 but when I saved it as a png to my camera roll on the iPad it some how got converted to a quarter that size... I exported it from affinity... can’t figure what’s up with that, wasn’t aware if Apple has a size limit, will have to redo the background and sig if I want to print. The original had pretty good detail, could even make out the rille a little in the alpine valley, not bad for average seeing and full sunlight
