Thanks for the news and links. RIP indeed. I will think fondly on him when I use my telescope with a FT focuser. Savor every day.

Deeply saddened to hear this. I have an F/T focuser but didn't know the story of the company and of its founder.

This is really sad news. Condolences to his family and friends. What a great, high quality company he got going.

Best focusers in the world,, IMO.   I have owned 3 of them,, they can't be beat.   Sad news for astronomy .     His contribution to the hobby won't be forgotten.

Prayer's  go out to his family .   frown.gif

It is quite a shock to learn of Jon Joseph’s sudden passing. We are deeply saddened and offer our heartfelt sympathy to Dena and the entire Joseph family for their loss.  Jon effected many lives and will be missed by many in the astronomical community. He will always remain in our thoughts.
