Hello,
I've recently set up a Mesu Mk II, I tested it only with some guiding so far and I didn't try the Skyview yet.
I've been a Celestron user for 8 years I always used an alignment procedure with the handpad and I never synced my mount with a computer.
I was thinking about a good sync procedure and I wanted to ask if syncing on polaris with a good polar alignment is sufficient to have a pointing model precise enough to point another star to refine the sync a second time.
I wanted also to aks if the Sync is done just once or more syncs give a more accurate pointing model.
Clear Skies,
Andrea
