Excited to share my very first astrophotography images and as is with most, I am starting with the Orion Nebula. I have been doing photography for a while but just got into astrophotography recently and have been reading up and practicing software since I ordered my kit in late Dec. I got my mount and tripod a few weeks ago which gave me enough to start with my DSLR setup and I recently got the the Celestron EdgeHD 8 telescope and the Canon EOS RA which is what was used for the most recent photo of Orion.

I am going to keep practicing and getting better at the workflow and am excited to share the progress along the way. What a gorgeous subject and what a fantastic hobby to look into our beautiful universe!

Best,

Pali

Thank you Joe,

1st one was 20 seconds exposures and the rest are all 30 seconds exposures. I used 25 darks and flats for 1st two but only used 30 darks for the last one with EdgeHD 8 since I don't have a big enough light source to cover the EdgeHD 8 just yet.

Best,

Pali

Still learning but attempted to capture a galaxy. This is so much fun and I can't wait to keep perfecting the process!
