Hello everyone!

I was lucky enough to snag a new asi2600mm pro the last day of the preorder price.  I couldn’t resist and I figured it would be a great way to make the jump to mono.. no amp glow, 16bit, yadda yadda, everyone knows the specs by now I think haha.  I am wondering though, if anyone is using the color version, or an asi camera with the same body mechanics on the rasa 8 along with filters.  I know the camera has 17.5mm bf with tilt plate, and 12.5 without.  Is there an adapter or filter slider that exists for these type of cameras to thread 2” filters into the imaging train?

Also, I’ve seen conflicting info to weather or the 2600mm has an AR window, or if it’s a UV/IR cut window.  Can anyone confirm which it has?

Im planning to use the 2600mm for luminance data, and the 294mc pro for color data.  But I would like to get a set of RGB filters in the future as well as H alpha, so I’m trying to figure out what I’ll need for that, and if the camera needs an IR cut filter, how would I mount that?

No idea how long it’ll be before the camera actually gets here, but I’d love to cover my bases and have most everything figured out by that time so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Clear skies everyone!

Looks like (you need to check these out more carefully than me <smile> ) the Artesky needs no spacer.  Since spacers can introduce tilt, that would be my choice.

That looks terrific Bob, thanks!  I saw something like this for sale over seas, but not in the US.  It’s in stock none the less!  It looks like these types are the only type available though due to limited bf of the rasa 8. In other words, no filter sliders exist, and this type would require taking the camera off in order to swap filters correct?  I don’t mind having to do that, but didn’t wanna buy one of these and then the day it comes in see that there’s a filter slider system tongue2.gif

It also looks like the mono version does NOT have an IR cut, only OSC version.  Mono has AR window.  So I’ll need an adapter and IR cut filter from the get go.
