I just recently bought one of these and it came with no caps. Finding one for the base is no problem however the housing top on this eyepiece differs from the 11/15mm plossls that I own. Can anyone recommend a supplier who would have the right size cap to fit the top of this eyepiece and it's size? Thanks.

I know that, somehow,  you'll find this hard to believe,  but, yes.........Televue.   Call, don't email.

+1

Agena Astro sells 1-1/4" caps (at least in clear and maybe in black) which will fit the barrel.  If you can measure the eye lens side and convert to millimeters, they also sell dozens of different sizes of caps as well.  I got new caps for several of my Tele Vue smoothie Plossls from Agena Astro.

I always thought the yellow ones looked silly vs. the black ones. But you can see them better at night. Don't they make white ones? Original black or clear white ones are keepers.

In larger diameters the soft yellow caps can easily be pushed against the surface of the lens they're supposed to protect and they leave a smudge on that lens. Its' easily cleaned off but after I had that experience I prefer more rigid caps.
