Hi.

SX2  costs less than the SXD2.

Question 1

significant differences beyond those of load capacity and SB versions?

question 2

if i buy an SX with SB one, can I integrate an SB ten later?

Question 3

Iit is possibile to remote  the two mounts from PC. Ok SB Ten is a great unit, but if a leave this near the mount in the garden, i can fully remote the mount from my Home PC?

thanks

Starbook one has an autoguider port but that’s it. You do not have goto or the Ethernet connection.

There are also some differences in terms of aluminum alloy vs carbon steel for certain gears.

Its cheaper to buy the starbook ten with the mount.

If you want to control remotely two options.

1) Plugin a cat 10 cable into the statbook 10
2) Plugin in a wifi access unit (£20-30 online) to the starbook 10.

To be honest, I think Vixen could off added wifi to the starbook 10 unit, even if they did not add it to the mount. The star book unit is great to zoom over the moon with, no waiting for the image to recover from vibrations.
