I have just purchased an asiair pro and tried to connect it to my EQ6_R pro, I ordered an EQdir cable expecting it to fit into the auto guide port on the mount but it didn't fit. The only place it fits is in the hand controller port but I am loath to try this in case I screw something up, is this how the system operates ie you remove the hand controller and plug the asiair pro in its place?

Thanks for any help you can give

My EQdir cable goes into the Hand control port.  I think it is next connector down from the auto guider port. Works great.

Moving this from EAA to Equipment for a potentially better fit.
