I am trying to run The Sky X on my Raspberry PI but so far I have been unsuccessful getting the guiding software to work.  I thought fine I will try PHD2.  I managed to get it installed but when it came to selecting the mount the only option I have is to use INDI but I do not know where to get it.   I went to https://indilib.org/...wnload-rpi.html but there is nothing there just a blank box (the other versions are not there either).  I have also registered for the forums but it will not allow me to access them to post a message.  Anyone know another way to get it?

That page used to be populated and informative. They are updating the site I guess.

Get Stellarmate OS or Astroberry. That's INDI/KStars/Ekos.

They are very similar.

Astroberry is free.

Stellarmate is not free but better supported and actively developed (they are the developers of INDI too).

These links seem good:

KStars/Indi: https://edu.kde.org/kstars/install.php

Astroberry: https://www.astroberry.io/

What OS is on your Pi? Looks like you need 64bit. I would recommend posting here on it as that OP is helping people install it.

What OS are you running?

In ubuntu you just do the following:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:mutlaqja/ppa
sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install indi-full gsc

Raspbian latest build

I think the same commands will work in Raspbian:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:mutlaqja/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indi-full gsc

See this link: https://www.raspberr...software/apt.md

This is what I get.  That should be correct, it is what the instructions I have found have said to to as well. The frustrating part is the INDI forums is not sending the authentication emails so I cannot register my account to ask questions there.  Tried two different email and neither have received either. I dont know, might just go back to a mini windows pc.

The PPA do not work with Raspbian.

You can try to install from the astroberry repo or build from source.

I always recommend to build INDI from source because this prevent any incompatibilities with your system and also prevent error because of half updated repo with every new version.

The script I use is here: https://github.com/p...i/build_indi.sh

Look at the comment in the script to install the prerequisite and change any option you want.
