Since numerous Asteroids have been discovered in my city so I decided to photograph some.
The Pula Observatory was founded in 1871 as part of the Hydrographic Institute of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
He was the naval officer of the Austro-Hungarian Empire `` Johann Palisa (1848–1925) '', who became director of the observatory in 1871 or 1872 and remained so until 1880.
... 29 Asteroids only discovered in Pula other Asteroids, some comets and various NGCs he discovered when he was working at the Vienna University Observatory.

I have decided (try) to photograph all Asteroids that have been discovered in Pula ... it's a long but pleasant job

Below first on the list and Callisto or 204 Kallisto is a main belt asteroid with an average diameter of about 48.57 km. Discovered in 1879.

Interesting.

But you have easy task with 'only' 29 asteroids.

I have tried to image asteroids which were found in Turku by Yrjö Väisälä and his team.

According to english Wikipedia 128 asteroids were found:

According to Finnish Wikipedia over 800 asteroids were found... - I believe in english wikipedia grin.gif
