Hello everybody,

hope this topic is in the right thread.

I have bought an used ZWO ASI 294 camera and the seller did not include the 1,25" nosepiece. He confirmed to me he forgot to pack it, however after that stopped responding. So I do not have it.

Is there any way to get that separately? If so, could anyone point me to a link to the item? I have checked many websites, however could not find it...

Thanks.

A.

If its the same thread as my ASI120MM-S - its a standard T2 (42mm) thread.

Sources of T2 to 1 1/4" nosepiece adapters are quite easy to google. Here's a UK example https://www.rotherva...daptor-125.html

Depending on how you bought the camera I would consider making a formal claim/complaint? Sellers shouldn't be allowed to get away with that behaviour.

Thank you very much. This thing I have found before, but was not sure it is the right one.

However, just to be sure if this does what I expect it to do:) Adapters of any kind are always quite confusing for me...

I would like to connect the camera with a 1,X25 barlow and then connect the camera to my Skywatcher Crayford - will this device help me doing that?

I bought it on Astrobuysell UK and paid through Paypal, so I guess I could complain via Paypal. The problem is that I bought it about half a year ago and have not dealt with this earlier, so I am not sure if it is too late...

Arez,

- PayPal accepts claims for 6 months, so you cannot file a complain now.

- Yes: camera -> T2 to 1.25" adapter -> 1.25" barlow -> telescope focuser.

If your telescope has a 2" focuser, you will need to add a 2" to 1.25" adapter  between barlow and focuser as an interface.

Just in case your barlow is a 2", you can get a 2" nosepiece to fit the camera.
