I have been following 44 Boo the last 8 years as the components moved closer and merged. Now they are moving apart again. For the observations I have used my Mewlon 180 at 540 to 720X.

It has been fun to watch the "static" univers move smile.gif

 

Here are my obsevations sketches complied. North is up and east to the right (zenith prism).

Beautifully so. So you watched the complete transit. What is the actual separation? From your sketch I guess sth about -.5"

Thanks. The separation now is close to 0.45".
