The equipment

Sky watcher 80ed pro The matching .85 reducer and an asi294mc pro, and finally the 2inch Optolong L-eXtreme filter

The issue is that the 294 was bought used and I'm sure I'm missing some gear. I have all the spacers but there is no way for me to connect the filter and the field reducer together. It's an either or situation. What am I missing?

Oh wow I cant believe it but it looks like you actually need a special adapter to connect the reducer to the filter I found the product here: https://www.firstlig...flatteners.html you can probably buy an M56 to M48 adapter from someone else too because i think it's the same thing

I think you need something like this :

Or this :
https://www.firstlig...l-reducers.html

Don't know if there's US dealer for these.
