Here is a nice barred spiral in Ursa Major that just loves to be imaged. I used a modded Canon 6D at ISO 1600 taking seven images at 3.5 minutes each. Lots of sky glow was evident in the stacked images so I edited out as much as possible trying to keep the details of the subject at hand showcased. Once all this snow melts off here the sky gets dramatically darker and much higher contrast. There are a lot of people burning wood around here for heat and that adds to the glow as well. Lots of Owls were doing their spring calling as they search out mates and mark off territory around here - really nice to hear !!
