I still have my poster signed by Clyde Tombaugh as well. It was a joy to speak with him and Patsy. I also have the 1965 story "The Search for Planet X" (our 9th planet smile.gif )by Tony Simon, that I got in the 5th grade.  I often wish I brought it to Stellafane for his signature.

Are confusing NEAF with Stellafane?  There was  a Cloudy Nights Classic booth at NEAF but not at Stellafane. While many Cloudy Night Classic members have come to Stellafane with their classics.

I was hoping last year would be my first trip to Stellafane but now I think I'll wait until 2021.

You mean 2022 ?

Me too Steve, both! (Wait for 2022 and can’t do math anymore with the lockdown.) But I have had some wonderful conversations with myself, and my house has never been cleaner!

I haven't been in lockdown, but I was on a job out of range of anything including phone calls and texting for the last couple weeks. I started have some pretty good discussions with myself towards the end.

Now days I look forward to trips to Walmart, so I can talk to the casherslol.gif  They're starting to recognize me by my eyebrowsgrin.gif

I still can't get use to going to the bank wearing a mask.

Once this Covid thing is over, I'm planning on attending more star parties than in the past. Ya just don't know what you got till it's gone.

Same. If things change and we can get a more "normal" Stellafane this year (even slightly more than what the organizers seem to currently have in mind) I may go but there's no way with the current plans. Heck, if they're going to severely limit registration I'd rather someone who's more willing/eager to subject themselves to all of the rules/restrictions get the ticket.

Hoping that Okie-Tex and PSSG are normal later in the year and I'm definitely attending TSP, Stellafane, and others next year.

I quite agree Zane. I’m totally on a ‘wait and see’ this year. If things are looking up and conditions change but I can’t get a ticket later on, then so be it.

I feel the same way. It’s now a long trip for me, so I’ll wait for an unrestricted Stellafane.

Well, I'm still contemplating the trip this year.  If I go, I'll car camp along the way to and fro.  Not quite ready to get on an airplane for hours at a time.  I'm really good now at social distancing, especially outdoors.

In all probability, I won't be able to get the time off.  Because, like a fool, I haven't retired yet.
