Out Struving last night in poor seeing, about Pickering 4/10..... 8-in Wirth Mak Newt.... Calm winds, Temps from 5C to 1C over 3 hour period.
Triple #1 in Eastern Monoceros. Easy with 17.3mm Delos (70x).

The double double in Hydra. A bright-ish pair and a much fainter pair only about 1' away to the north... The fainter 'pair' is not in the WDS and appears to be two field stars...

The fainter pair has magnitudes 11.84 and 13.21, sep. 28.2" PA 4.5º (data obtained from Sky Safari which conveniently gives separation and PA from the previous object you centered... So centre on 'A' and then centre on 'B' and read the data..
The 11.84 mag star is TYC 0229-2157-1 and has no other designation..
The 13.2 mag star is Gaia 577487219423400448 and has no other designation.
So, I proudly announce the discovery of Cotts 1.
