I have the nikon d3400.

By sheduling I mean to program the camera to for example take images tonight at 9:30pm, 9:36pm, 11:43pm, etc. without me having to touch anything else after I shedule them.

Maybe via ascom? sharpcap?

Some dslr have interval timer shooting: https://onlinemanual...uide_03_24.html

But it doesn't seem the case for my model.

With an INDI connection to the camera you can control that from a script with indi_setprop roughly like

- capture exposure of X seconds.
- sleep Y seconds
- capture another exposure
- sleep Z seconds

and so on. See also https://indilib.org/...-scripting.html
