Here are a few shots of the RA drive with the cover removed and a little cleaning up. I’m assuming that the 3 screws in the first picture are the adjustment screws for the “clutch”, would this be correct?

Looks just like my old 826 mount. Yes, those three screws adjust the clutch.

Thanks. I assumed so but wanted confirmation. Can you tel me how the clutch assembly works. I can t find much info on the mount.

Never had it apart. Had to tighten it up slightly once, when I added a 60mm guide scope and tube weight. If you Google search for "Meade 826 Clutch", you'll find a bunch of info. If you're like me, you'll spend hours browsing.

What kind of lubricant do you use on the worm and the Dr. gear?

I use this on all of my astronomy stuff.

Keep it out of the clutch plates!
