I'd love to see some private observatory pictures with mounted classics. Wish I could show you mine but I don't have one. But I can dream.

So here is my 8 inch Meade f/6.3 sct in my 5 ft. Dome. Their are j-bolts imbeded in concrete and they hold the pier in place but it also allows for removal. I like it for visual and with my stella cam video cameras.

I don't have any classics mounted IN the observatory but I have a couple mounted on permanent piers OUTSIDE the observatory.
Here is my Jagers 6" F10 refractor mounted to a Meade mount for a 16" reflector on my western pier. I like the fact that I can uncover this scope and be ready to go while the "Observatory Stack" is busy taking pictures.
Here is my F5 Genesis mounted on an early 90's G11 (Celestron version) on my eastern pier. Again, very handy for use at a moment's notice.
Of course I have 365/24 covers for both of these to protect the optics and mounts.

I would love to see a picture of the covers.
