I part with my large project, I am considering an observatory tent. I've managed to find them on Ebay and was wondering if this tent would be worth my time. I live in a bortle 4 area and there is a lot of tree cover, but the one streetlight is barely blocked by the trees so quite a bit of straylight still gets through. I'll upload an image of my area when I get home from school.

Too bad this is not sold anymore:

It has a metal subframe and anchors that will keep it up in 70 MPH winds. Top rotates by hand. I traded for one last year in mint condition. I plan on mounting it on my deck in a month or so. Trade value was about $1500. Breaks done into 3 large travel bags, plus I got a ground sheet with it also. Its basically a 10' dome.
