Hi everyone,

I just thought I would let everyone know that Nikon is having a sale on their refurbished binoculars. Lots of Aculon’s with a few Action Extreme’s. Please buy them all so I can quit being tempted because I really don’t need them! lol.gif

Thanks for the heads-up.  Yeah, I also really don't need them ... but was too tempted by the Extreme 7x35.

The one I had, I gifted.  It's great for beginners and for sharing.  When I would go touring in a group where I knew I would be asked to give a look, I took that one.  Because no one touches my personal binos (Habicht, E2, etc.).  With that one I feel I am giving up little in view enjoyment, and have no issues letting others knock it about.

This new one, I might just hold boxed for a gift.  At $87 including shipping, it optically delivers way above its cost.

Also, I think a Nikon refurb is a more sure thing than brand new.  It has been humanly checked and I think they would not let it out if not well within specs.  To me, normal "quality control" by comparison could more likely produce unlucky sample variation.

So thanks, I think.
