I just picked up a 48x28x28 Pelican case for a $100 from a surplus dealer. A little carpentry work and some foam and I should have have a secure, waterproof case that will transport my 8" newt, EQ6 and laptop. I almost would have preferred separate cases for easier handling, but I just couldn't pass this one up!
