From blue skies under 5 arc sec Mars. Sun was setting little less than an hour after the latter image taken. A small animation shows that at least some of the detail is not processing artifacts. Solis Lacus is clearly in view.

CPC1100, ASI224MC, Orion 3x, IR-Pass 685nm, IR/UV-cut.
