Hi all,

This morning it was bright and clear and so I decided to make an observation of the Sun in H-Alpha.  I'm reasonably pleased with how the drawing has come out- some nice prominences visible on the limb.

Cheers,

-Paul

Hello Paul,

thanks a lot for sharing another view of today's sun. I've sketched around 3 hours earlier.

Paul,

Sometimes I think I'm looking at a photo by the realism and quality of your pieces.Really outstanding effort!         Michael

Great sketch!
I also dream of buying Coronado PST, but unfortunately now it is not on sale in all stores, and it may appear in stock only in the summer. undecided.gif

Thanks all!  I’m pleased I got the Coronado some time ago as observing the Sun in H-alpha does allow the viewing of phenomena not available in white light.  I’m pleased the result looks realistic!
