Has anyone fit an upgrade to the secondary dovetail to a non-marring unit? Any ideas where to source one or what has worked for others? ADM doesn't seem to make one for the secondary side. Thanks for any ideas you may have!

Cool! That's for the secondary? How funny anthony told me they didn't have one! Do you have the link or part number for that? Thank you!

The ADM saddle is a big improvement.  Highly recommended.

You will need to specifically ask for a secondary saddle, as you will not find it on their website.

Yes, you need to ask Anthony for it. It’s not on the website.

I added the four screws for Azimuth adjustment.

When I asked -  Anthony replied with :  "Just order the MT Pro Version of the saddle you want and add a reminder on the checkout page"  the reminder was referring to the 20mm counterweight shaft adapter.

So sounds like he does not actually have a secondary saddle specifically made for the AZ Pro counterweight shaft - but does have the AZ Pro counterweight shaft adapter which uses the MT pro version saddle.     Anyway that's my take on this...

This is a fully adjustable version I built . Works like a dream. Used an old ADM saddle I had kicking around and made up the rest.. The brass wheel you see is just revolved and the saddle moves in or out to adjust the AZ.

With the puck I turned up I’ve installed 3 thumb screws I turned up on my lathe , to adjust the ALT I just finger tighten the bottom two after alignment then nip up the top one with a spanner which has an Allen key inserted. Also showing in the photo is my revised collet nut which can also be tightened with the spanner. This prevents the balance weight shaft from turning (slipping).

Cheers

Graham
