Was looking into getting one for a longer focal length scope to use with AP? Has anyone tried it for deep space imaging?

Thanks in advance!

I have thought about it and the 152. The 140 has better type of glass that should show less false colour then the 152. Images I have seen look decent. astrophotography has a lot to do with the skill set of the person processing the image. I find when I look at the images it’s helpful but no guarantee I’ll get the same results. Interesting to see what others have to say especially from anyone who owns one.

Not much to be found on Astrobin, but I would believe a FPL-53 doublet would preform about the same as my AT115EDT, which is a FPL-51 (or equivalent) triplet but not sure, can not find many images with the APM 140

I've got an SHO version of that now.  I can share more if anyone wants.
