Hello! I have been considering purchasing a 2 inch O-III filter for visual use and i'm trying to decide between the Orion O-III and Celestron version (keep in mind I don't have a very high budget). Should I even pursue an O-III filter considering I already have an ultrablock filter? and which one is better, the Orion or Celestron? Thank you!

Be patient, save up some dimes and buy either the Lumicon Gen 3 O-III, a Televue current production O-III or an Astronomic current production O-III. It makes a lot of difference.

And yes, an O-III filter is effective on a different group of emission nebulae than a UHC.
